Problem
We can lose valuable time if we’re oblivious to the fact that someone on our team has already worked on something or figured something out.
It can be inefficient to re-invent the wheel but we have done it. We have overlooked the fact that someone might have already come across an issue or conducted certain research, especially considering we regularly matriculate staff.
Solution
I set up a blog as part of our reference guide to institute a way for my group to actively log the strategies they used frequently.
The Solutions Log is a place to document stuff that works or record wisdom about best practices and best ideas. It’s also used for known fixes we use less frequently so that we can remember in the future.
